Copywriting for trades
Words that sound like you and get calls.
You are great at the job. Writing about it is a different skill. I write every word on your website from a short chat, so it sounds like you on your best day and gives customers a reason to ring.
Included free with every website build.
Most trade websites say the same thing: "quality workmanship, competitive prices, no job too small". Customers skim straight past it because they have read it on every site before yours. Good copy is specific. It talks about the jobs you do, the materials you use, the worries customers have before they call, and why you are the one to trust with their home.
You do not write anything. We have a short chat, on a call or WhatsApp voice notes, and I ask about your work, your customers and what makes you different. Then I write every page in plain language. You read it, tell me what feels off, and I fix it. Every website build includes it, and you can also hire me for copy on its own.
What it does
What you get from copywriting for trades.
Starts with a short chat
No forms to fill in and no homework. I ask how you got into the trade, what jobs you love, what customers usually ask and what annoys you about competitors. Voice notes are fine. The good stuff usually comes out when you are just talking.
Sounds like you, on a good day
If you are blunt and practical, the copy is too. If you are friendly and chatty, it reads that way. It still sounds like a real person, just a little sharper, so customers who call already feel like they know you.
Answers what customers worry about
Will they turn up? Will they leave a mess? Is the quote the real price? Good trade copy answers these before anyone asks. Each page deals with the doubts that stop people calling, in plain words and without waffle.
Written to get calls
Every page has one job. Headlines say what you do and where. Service pages explain the work clearly. Each section points to a clear next step, whether that is tapping to call or sending a quick quote request.
Search-friendly without sounding robotic
I write around the phrases people really search, like "bathroom tiler" or "split system installation", but for people first. No keyword stuffing, no awkward repeated town names, just clear copy that search engines and customers both understand.
Who it is for
Honest fit.
This is for trade owners who know their work inside out but hate writing about it, or who have a website full of generic lines that could belong to anyone. It suits anyone who would rather talk for twenty minutes than write for a weekend. It is not for long blog programmes or technical manuals. Those are different jobs with different prices.

Questions
Straight answers.
Do I need to write anything myself?
No. We have a short chat, or you send me voice notes on WhatsApp, and I take it from there. I might ask a few follow-up questions about specific jobs or materials. You only read the finished copy, tell me what does not sound right, and I make the changes before anything goes live.
Will it sound like a marketing agency wrote it?
It should not. I keep it plain, short and specific to your trade. No fluffy buzzwords, no big promises you cannot back up. If a line does not sound like something you would say to a customer on site, we change it until it does.
Can I get copy without a new website?
Yes. If your website works fine but the words are tired or generic, I can rewrite the pages for you to drop in. I can also write your Google Business Profile description and service listings. Tell me what you need and I will quote it before you commit.
What if I do not like what you write?
Then tell me, honestly. Every job includes a round of changes after you read it, and most fixes are small: a word that is not you, a service described slightly wrong. The aim is copy you would happily read aloud to a customer standing in front of you.
