When someone searches "roofer near me", the map results usually show up first. Those little listings with photos, reviews and a call button are Google Business Profiles. Plenty of trades have one that was set up in five minutes years ago, with the wrong category, no services listed and three blurry photos. That costs calls you never know about.
I go through your profile line by line. The right primary and secondary categories, every service you offer, the areas you actually cover, real photos of your work and a link back to your website. Then I give you a simple way to ask happy customers for reviews. It comes free with every website build, because the two work best together.

Your primary category matters more than most people realise. "Roofing contractor" and "roofer" are not treated the same by Google. I pick the main one carefully and add secondary categories that match the work you actually want more of.

I work from home. Can I still have a profile?
Yes. Google lets service businesses hide their address and show a service area instead. Most trades work this way because they go to the customer. I set it up so your home address stays private and your listing shows the towns and suburbs you cover, which is exactly what customers need to see.
Can you get me more reviews?
I can make it much easier for you to ask. You get a short review link and a friendly message you can text to customers after a job. I never buy, write or fake reviews. Google removes those and can penalise your listing, and they are not worth the risk to your name.
My profile is already set up. Is it worth fixing?
Usually, yes. Most profiles I look at have something holding them back: the wrong main category, missing services, an outdated phone number or no recent photos. A clean-up often takes less time than a fresh setup, and you keep the reviews you have already earned.
Is it really free with a website build?
Yes. Your website and your Google profile work best as a pair, so I set up or clean up your profile as part of every build at no extra cost. If you only want the profile sorted without a new website, ask me and I will quote it before you commit.
